Kelly Starr Cam Girl

A person using the name of Kelly Starr,  or  sometimes Miss Kelly, is running an online dating scam that is designed to get you to sign up for a cam show web site.    This post is about that scam and tactic.  It has come to my attention that there is a Kelly Starr adult film actress.  This post is not related to that person.

Kelly Starr  –  The Scam

This online dating scam is designed to get you to sign up for a cam show web site. It starts with a post something like

“today im looking to have some fun, hit me up”  and it includes a picture with the phone number embedded.

The embedded text in the image gets past the craigslist detection that prevents the posting of phone numbers, email addresses and website URL’s.

When you send a text, you get a reply message directing to a personal site with  a variety of information that leads you to believe, you have met an escort.

Heyyyy I’m kelly If your trying to spend some time then check out my page for pics and info kstarr9577.tumblr.com/booknow  –  this site is down, and she has moved on.  Have you seen her?  Leave a comment below.

However, in reality you have met a cam girl.  Well maybe…

This site is titled “Sexy Miss Kelly”  or Kelly Starr.

The site is a Tumblr blog with a facade website – a service provided by Tumblr – kstarr9577.tumblr.com

The snap chat name is starrgirl41

I am suspicious that this is the same person running the Brook Cam Girl Scam This “girl” only has pictures on her website. There is no video, like Brooke Miller. That means you cannot really tell if this is the same person with different pictures or someone new.   Worth noting:

– The area code is Wisconsin, same as Brooke
– The ads for both appear in similar time frames.
– The website is the Same exact format as Brooke.

I have notice that the scammers are often posting 2-5 ads at the same time. Presumably that means it takes longer to flag them, meaning they can reach more people,

Once you get to the site, it  introduces an attractive young woman, who says she is from Wisconsin.  She instructs that you have to join a cam show web site for $25.  She says that she does this so that she can weed out people who are not serious. You can read more in this article that reviews situation with Glasscams.com to get information on the scam.

Please Note, that as a general rule, I do not encourage confronting a scammer in any way.  It is best just to make note and move on.  The most likely outcome is that the scammer just moves on to a new number, a new website, changes tactics.  That makes them harder to track.

Kelly Star: Reviews

Her website has information indicating that there are reviews at TER.  This doesn’t seem to be the case.

None of these pictures were found on a Tineye search.  Placing them here will enable Tineye to find them.  If you do not know what that is, I highly recommend that you learn to use Tineye.  You can learn how to use Tineye here.

The Kelly Starr Cam Site: Glasscams.com

The cam site seems to be legit for what it offers.   You can read more about glasscams.com here.   I am not willing to use a credit card there to find out more.  I have had readers leave comments that said the person on the cam site was not the person in the ad they responded to.

Is Kelly Starr Legitimate?

No. Not this one.   You are not going to meet her.  This Kelly Starr, assuming that is her real name, is a scammer plain and simple.
