Hi Ronin. I recently found out that my debit card was compromised by duesfileview.com. I read your article about them and how to handle the situation. I found it very informative. But I wanted to ask you if it’s possible if I could sue the website. I did not know about the website and what they’re about until I read your article. I talked to my bank, and they said the charge is still pending. I haven’t talked to them about potentially sueing duesfileview.com, but I have been considering it. I want to make sure that it’s possible to sue them for this.
You can sue anybody. The question is if you want to hire a UK lawyer to do so.
Then you have to demonstrate loss. At this point in time, you are aware of the charge and should take measures to stop and be working with your bank and following their advice.
Doesn’t seem like a wise use of time and money to me

Hi Robin
I have discovered I have been charged every month £59 by company with this email address:dimesycorp.com. This is exactly our friend from Cyprus company. I have browsed all my email box and I couldn’t figure out what for I am paying. My bank advised me to call under number which you suggest not to call. When can I do? Cancel my card? I have join account withy wife. Any suggestions? Thank you Michal
Thank you so much for this info. They stoled from me 2x before i was able to change my debit card. I am 60 yrs old lady and have no use for their filth. But i did online dating verfication
I have just fell victim to the age verification scam they too took a little over $58.00 from my debit Visa card. I’m scared that I also have had my identity stolen as well. As my passwords change on certain websites that require a password I know because I write all of them down. It’s a real stress and headache what should I do. Bryce
Oh Mr. Ronin,
I sincerely appreciate the work you do to inform others of scams and would like to thank you. I recently read the article on “Unauthorized Credit Card Charge: PayCKrate.com” at ( https://theonlinedatingscams.com/payckrate-com/ ) after a charge I could not figure out. I didn’t understand what this was until I read your article. Afterwards, I managed to get a FULL refund back from the Payckrate company themselves. I would like share my experience with you and possibly add my information to your article; in an attempt to help others get their money back, instead of simply cutting their losses. Please contact me at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for the comment. I am glad you could get your money back.
Payckrate is owned by a shell company in Nicosia, Cyprus. They, and whomever they do business with, have your credit card number and email. If you called them, they have your phone number, if you contacted them online via chat, they have your IP address. They might have other info like your birth date and mailing address.
My recommendation is that you cancel your credit card and get a new one. Also, I recommend getting a credit monitoring service.
