Sensual Dater is very new – The sensualdater.com domain was registered on 12/6/2016. This scam is about signing you up for “world’s best personal for adults”.
The site purports to be free, but in actuality, it behaves like the get verified scams, and has a hidden charge of $40 per month.

The Sensual Dater site has the same webpage design and code as other scams, such as the Safe and Single family of Get Verified scam websites, and Singles Hug. SensualDater.com is different in that it offering free access to a dating site. The process of sign-up asks for a user name and an email, then on the next page you are to enter your credit card to be verified.

The set up

I have not seen any spam, or other bait type of emails or fake ads directing to the site. How I was able to find this site, is going to remain confidential for the time being.

Sort of… Sensual Dater is owned by Shahadat Hossen, who reports his location in Dhaka, Bangledesh. We have seen Shahadat before. He is the proud owner of Singles Hug, a get verified online dating scam site. As is usually the case with these site however, SensualDater.com is not where you are typing your information. Thru use of a web programming command called IFrame, you are really typing you information in another website without your knowledge.

Here is how it works

Hidden from your view, SensualDater.com uses the iframe command to present content from a rotation of sites, controlled by tgtrak.com. When you enter your credit card, you can’t see the fine print (Hidden by the iframe command) that signs you up for another dating site. Here are a few of the sites in the rotation.

Hpyhrm.com – happy hour meet
Cntmve.com – count me in for love
Gfesdv.com – Golfers Need Love

Experience tells me that there are many more in the rotation, so this would just be a small sample.

Sensual Dater Fine Print: $39.95/month

The iframe command is hiding the content of the site where you are typing in your information. All you will see is words on the page that say “Verify your age, and get your free access today”.

What you don’t see is the billing terms. Here is an Example from frytlmtchs.com – Fairy Tale Matches”

Your access to Dates.Hookup includes a 2 day free trial promo to Fairy Tale Matches. If you choose to remain a member of Fairy Tale Matches beyond the trial period, your membership will renew at thirty nine dollars and ninety nine cents.

This one does not say, but no doubt this is a monthly charge like other sites.

Remember, you don’t know these terms are there. Your first knowledge of the charge is likely to be when you get the credit card bill. By that time you have passed the “trial period”.

tgtrak.com -The content controller

This site controls where your are entering your credit card. Although it appears that you are in the sensual dater site, you are really typing in to a site in the rotation noted above. This is the first time I have seen this particular domain controlling the content in one of these front end scam sites. The domain was created in 2014 and recently renewed. The domain registrant is Liquid Ventures, LLC. Jason Ascher is the owner, at 930 Sunshine Canyon, Boulder CO.

A reverse look up of the Boulder address checks out, and reports Jason Ascher as the resident.

Jason Ascher has a very public online footprint. Including the filing of a deed for his home, which reads as “Cstone Mortgage Inc., 930 Sunshine Canyon Drive, Boulder, 04/05/2016, $1,181,250.00”. Follow the Money – Sensual Dater

Now we see how they are making their money. A Bangledeshi entrepreneur sets up a web site, then underneath you get signed up for a subscription to a dating site. The cost is hidden, and when you find the bill on your credit card its too late.

No doubt the idea is to sneak a charge in on your credit card, and by the time you actually get it off, you are happy to have it stopped, and be done with the hassle, even if it cost $40.

The rotating sites I noted, are billing sites for branded dating sites such as Fairy Tale Matches. These front ends are for a while label dating company. The front end site does the marketing, while the White Label company does the billing, and collects the money. Just another scam

Since this is so new, I am not sure how they intend to get people to sign up for the site. Clearly there is intent for deception. You need to have programming skill and prior knowledge of the patterns to know what to look for and how to look for it. An average consumer would have no ability to detect the scam. Hopefully, getting this post out there and searchable will prevent others from making a mistake.

If you have been snagged by this sort of a scam

What you need to do is call your bank, and dispute the charges. I have no problem with you referring them to this article to back up your story. Any fraud investigator at a bank will be able to take the information I have posted here and verify if needed. Chances are the bank will just reverse the charge as deceptive or fraudulent, and that will be that. Note that you also need to cancel your credit card. You cannot be sure who has your credit card number.
